It appears that the gif in the below message is not rendering on desktop

https://topanswers.xyz/transcript?room=956&id=41204

- Chrome 84.0.4147.135 (Official Build) (64-bit)
- MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 (19G2021)

![Screenshot 2020-08-21 at 08.56.41.png](/image?hash=7e44ce88011c9866ab77c41a29b09bc148bbc36ded2425892179c97e9fad7466)

Note that it still renders as intended on mobile (in both mobile site and desktop site view)

- Chrome 84.0.4147.122
- iOS 13.6

As a possible point of interest, the desktop rendering has been missing for sometime IIRC. I figured it was just stale media since the message is rather old, but noticing it's still live in mobile makes me think perhaps it's something else worth pointing out.

The actual gif link posted in the markdown is https://giant.gfycat.com/CharmingIdioticBlobfish.gif

I'm not at all sure why that would render on mobile and not on desktop, but if I navigate directly to the link on desktop I get this response:

~~~ xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Error>
  <Code>AccessDenied</Code>
  <Message>Access Denied</Message>
  <RequestId>2G9KFS2N0TCZ3RBP</RequestId>
  <HostId>h3tN6/dgQhDlEkTjrDCqitchO+vJigf1d2PdtnuUiNxf/LGnkaJTyzFkmw9hUCJQYkPolDlFcCc=</HostId>
</Error>
~~~

Apparently this [happens to other people too](https://www.reddit.com/r/gfycat/comments/7cq9xh/trouble_downloading_gifs_accessdenied/)

> Normally I can get the original unaltered gif by adding "giant" "zippy" or "fat" to the URL, but more and more often this has been failing and all of those options return with an AccessDenied error. What am I doing wrong? How can I get the original file?
