We have recently added a diagonal stripe effect to the background colour of flagged/hidden posts, mainly because the red tint wasn't very visible on the TeX community.

There has been some discussion in comments about whether we need to supplement this with some text that explicitly describes what the background colour means, is this necessary? Or do we need to do something else to indicate the state of the post, like add a symbol or something?
